Well, here we are at March 7. My first recommendation to all who read this is that you make sure you take a 10 minute nap for the next six days in order to prepare yourself for the one hour you're gonna lose on Sunday when you 'SPRING FORWARD' into Daylight Saving Time...Yippee!! ;pOh, and for all you folks who were sure that Spring is already here...it's 31 degrees here in the Philadelphia area and the wind chill must be dropping it another 10-15 degrees from the way it felt out there a few minutes ago. The poor doves that show up at our bird feeders were clustered on the Grey Havens' back porch when I went out this morning...I'm not sure which of us were more startled, but they all flew away and I'm still here...like the lady in the one song in the musical, "Company."
Oh, speaking of wind...did you ever notice how after a storm there's always a windy day to dry things off? I guess that's where we inherently get the idea for a 'wash and blow dry' for those of us who actually have hair?!
Finally, did you notice how, given the title of this post, time requires you to use makeup if you're so given. Actually, last night I saw 43 actresses' pictures on the Net 'with and without makeup'... holey guacamole, Batman!! My favorite was Helena Bonham Carter...she always seems to have that 'hair done with an egg beater look' no matter what she's doing!
