#125: The REAL Earth Day

OK, today is Earth Day when we're supposed to be hugging the planet, so go lie face down on some piece of property and give the ground a hug...just make sure you're not on top of a nest of fire ants, termites, or yellow jackets!
The picture here is of the very FIRST tree I planted back in 1986 when it was about 18" tall. Twenty-two years later it's roughly 6'6" and a classic example of Lacy Leaf Chinese Red Maple beauty and masterful pruning, if I do say so myself!!
I don't know all the ins and outs of copyrights on the Internet, so I'll simply point you to the Joshua Project's address to show you the really important map of earth: http://www.joshuaproject.net/global-progress-scale.php
The Christian Environmentalist Credo is amply stated in Romans 8:22, "For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now." Take time to move the birthing process along in the Lord's sovereign time by going to the Joshua Project site and tearing down some strongholds across the planet, using your most powerful weapon, prayer, to cause the Gospel to go to "every nation, tribe, and tongue" in the effective manner described in Isaiah 55:11!
Got people groups?
