I've been cutting apart old lights and had a few thoughts. If you 'fall in love', is that like the two blind guys fallin' into a ditch? (Mt. 15:14) Guess they'll be groping in the dark, hunh?!!
If we've had Daylight Saving Time since around the First World War, who's saving it, where's it being saved, and is God going to use it up in the first couple of thousand years in eternity in Heaven? Hmmm...since Jesus is the Light of the world, is He the Daylight in the Darkness, Saving Time's Children...us?!! (John 8:12, John 14:6)
If we 'have a lightbulb over our heads' when we get an idea, is it an on/off switch before we 'qualify to share in the inheritance of the saints in light' and a dimmer switch afterwards, not ever quite going out, but maybe being very low wattage and lumens?
If Christians are 'the light of the world' (Matthew 5:14-16) are we hooked to Jesus in series or parallel? When one bulb comes unscrewed, does it diminish the light we shine into the world? If Satan tries to touch us, does he get burned? Bet my Great Aunt Lizzie's hair bun he does!
Got Balm of Gilead?
