As noted in my 'About Me' sidebar, I Blog automatically generates your zodiac sign and Chinese zodiac year if you enter your whole birthdate in your 'Profile'. Didja ever wonder why the sun sign horoscopes that are so popular focus on your Birth date and not your Conception date? Our understanding of biology points rather conclusively that our 'personhood' is established when two DNA chains are 'knit together' like an incredibly complex zipper...just what Psalm 139:13 says!! (This SHOULD be a conclusive argument against abortion, but is ignored by most folks.)
So, for instance, are Scorpios really Pisces people? Are the over-generalizations applied to a people group (which gets even more ludicrous in the zodiac-year-determines-your-character scheme) misapplied to all 12 of the groups? Is this why we're 'so conflicted' and 'have issues'...Eeeuuww?!!
And then...for born again Christians, should you throw in the date you were quickened by the Spirit as yet another modifying factor? (For instance, a Scorpio conceived in Pisces and saved in Leo would be a totally depraved stinging arachnid conceived by Icthus and remade in the image of Aslan?!! In the words of Vinnie Barbarino of 'Welcome Back Kotter'...I'm so confused!!)
Maybe we should just stick with 'created by God, in His image, for good works, by His choice and appointment.' (Cf Gen 1:27, Eph. 2:10, & John 15:16/Romans 9:22-24 )
