#22: The Real Angel Food Cake

OK, here's the story from 1 Kings 19: Elijah destroys 450 Baal prophets and runs away from one Hell of a woman named Jezebel...one hundred miles away, due south. (I wonder if that's where the phrase 'it's gone South' originates, meaning 'becomes a disaster'?) Well, he crashes under a broom tree, feels suicidal, and racks out. Then an angel wakes him, gives him 'cake baked on coals' that holds him over for 40 days and nights for another 200 mile trip.
Wonder if this is where Tolkien got his idea for Elvish lembas bread?
Got whine and cheese?
